Coast Distribution, the largest RV, Marine, OPE and Outdoor Furniture Distributor in North America is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin Territory

Directly reporting to the Vice President Regional Sales Manager, this individual will be part of the sales organization and contribute to the overall Company sales plan. Responsibilities include: Introducing and marketing new products and existing lines through pro-active selling to existing and new customers. Training, coaching and monitoring our customer’s performance on a continuous base to ensure they meet sales objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

Grow Coast Branded products and distributed lines in the RV, Marine, Outdoor Power Equipment, Outdoor Furniture and all other related industries. Have the ability to work and be successful in multiple channels. Help identify new product opportunities and markets. Partner with a pro-active inside selling team to obtain optimal sales results. Proactively solicit targeted accounts and perform product presentations via all available media and resources. Gain intelligence about our competitor’s strengths and weaknesses and use this to one’s advantage. Promote Coast product lines at various trade shows and events. Provide feedback to our VP Regional Sales Manager concerning market conditions, competitive issues, sales issues, new products and sales opportunities. Manage customer account transitions and conversions.  You will combine your sales and prospecting skills with your product knowledge and recommend profitable solutions.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
• High presentation / communications skills (writing / speaking)
• RV / Marine / Automotive / Outdoor Power Equipment experience is a plus
• Mechanical reasoning ability and strong problem solving skills.
• Aggressiveness, resilient, persuasive, willing to push for results.
• Team Player - focus on what is good for the company.
• Positive Attitude (a deep down unshakeable conviction to win).
• Strong planning, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 
• Sales certification or acknowledgements a plus
